Suck your diaphragm up with hypopressives.
Get a tighter, stronger core. You’re just too weak.
Your pelvic floor is taking way too much load.
You heal it by taking the pressure off, through expanding your rib cage and getting tone up into your bum.
Watch Dr. Lily explain itHow Dr. Lily takes the pressure off your pelvic floor
- 1Stop tightening your core
Let your belly soften. In Dr. Lily’s words,
your healing is right on the other side of allowing yourself to feel fat.
- 2Breathe with your diaphragm
A short, slow breath through your nose with your tongue on the roof of your mouth, so your belly, sides, back and pelvic floor expand as you inhale. Her cue:
get your breath down into your bum hole.
- 3Spread your ribs
Lift and widen your rib cage from the muscles between your ribs, so it stays suspended instead of collapsing down onto your pelvic floor every time you exhale.
- 4Pull your sit bones apart
Let the pelvic floor get long. Muscles that have never been long can only engage short and tight, and that’s the tightness that makes sex hurt.
- 5Support it with your bum
Engage from the bottom of your foot, through your calf and hamstring, up into your glutes, so the outside of your pelvic floor helps carry the load. Never squeeze your bum down.
It’s a lot to take in at once. Inside REVIVAL, Dr. Lily slows it down and walks you through each piece step by step, starting with Foundation.

Hi, I’m Dr. Lily
I saw so many providers. I did all of the exercises and the protocols. I have a doctorate in this stuff, and the pain would not go away.
After I got hit by a car while riding my bike, the pelvic floor tightness I’d always had got so much worse. It felt constantly tied up down there, and sex was uncomfortable. Now I don’t feel anything like that pain until I hike eight or nine miles. I’ve worked one on one with thousands of women, and I specialize in the ones the normal pelvic floor advice hasn’t worked for.
Questions
I’ve tried everything. Is it too late for me?
I specialize in the women the normal pelvic floor advice hasn’t worked for, and I was one of them. I saw many pelvic floor providers and did all of the exercises and protocols, and the pain would not go away.
Our bodies are geniuses that are healing all the time. When you take the pressure off the whole system instead of tightening one area, your pelvic floor has room to heal. Start with Foundation and go slowly.
My PT gave me Kegels. Aren’t those good?
If you just make your pelvic floor tighter, it’s going to feel tighter, and that means sex isn’t going to feel good. I don’t want to discount that Kegels probably worked for some of you.
They’re like a band-aid, though. They make one area tighter instead of taking the pressure off the whole system, so there are no Kegels in REVIVAL.
I’m pregnant or postpartum
These principles cover every stage: before you get pregnant, during pregnancy, during the birth, and long into postpartum.
Diastasis recti is normal in pregnancy, and it heals on its own. Sucking in and tightening your core to knit it back together pulls it further apart. Your diastasis will heal faster with less tightness in your core.
Around birth, move slowly and focus on the Foundations section. Every mama, pregnancy, birth, and recovery is different. Pain is never right.
Does this work for men?
Yes. Men’s pelvic floors take the same pressure, and these principles can be really helpful with things like having to pee a bunch of times throughout the night, hernias, or dribbling when you pee.
I’m a beginner, older, or in pain. Can I do this?
Yes. There’s the Foundation series, a Reshape series for doing bodywork on yourself, and a Regulate series where you can work completely on the floor. Move slowly. Pain is never right.
What is the time commitment?
You can make it fit your life. The theme is made of little videos that fit into your daily life, and you can do them at home, anytime.
We recommend three 20 to 60 minute strength workouts each week, 10 to 60 minute videos on the other days, and Sunday rest for sunshine and family.
What if I join after November 16?
Start with Foundation, then move into the pelvic floor videos at your own pace. The themes never go away, so you’ll also find last month’s theme in the library.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No. REVIVAL is month to month, and you can cancel anytime. If you’d rather commit for the year, the annual plan is 12 months for the price of 10 ($490 instead of $588).
What equipment will I need?
Most videos require no special equipment. I’ll let you know what you need before each one.
I recommend moving on a mat or sheepskin rug, outside whenever possible. Occasionally, we’ll use weights, rocks, or a countertop. I’ll show you how to use what you already have or what to purchase.
Should I take the REPATTERN class or do REVIVAL?
REPATTERN class requires a larger time commitment, as each video is around an hour. It’s my most in-depth offering, teaching you the anatomy, theory, and foundational principles behind this work.
REVIVAL brings those principles into shorter, easier-to-fit sessions with strength training workouts, without as much of the anatomical backstory.
Start with REPATTERN if you want to deeply understand the theory. Choose REVIVAL if you want more digestible chunks of guidance, or have done REPATTERN already.
Is REVIVAL right for my injury or issue?
REVIVAL is not medical treatment and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. It is a movement-based practice designed to help guide the body toward a more natural, healthy, open posture.
These principles have also helped people better support their bodies while experiencing concerns such as diastasis recti, leakage, pelvic floor dysfunction, low-back pain, plantar fasciitis, knee and shoulder discomfort, neck pain, headaches, jaw pain, grinding and clenching, airway concerns, scoliosis, and more.
Your health is your responsibility. Reach out to your provider if you need help.
I have hypermobility
This is especially for you. Learning how to hold your joints is good for everyone but vital for you. Dr. Lily is hypermobile herself, and after getting diagnosed and not finding good answers on how to support her body, she dove deep into figuring it out for herself.
Take it slow and use a mirror to see what you’re actually doing.
